The Australian Open Stats Team are responsible for recording all the match statistics. Positioned courtside at each tournament match, it is our responsibility to ensure that the match statistics are recorded in an efficient and effective manner. For this reason it is imperative that each statistician has a comprehensive knowledge of the sport, with strong attention to detail. Key roles and responsibilities of this position include:- Recording live match statistics on broadcast and non-broadcast courts.- Data entry of match statistics and scores through the AO computer system on-court.- Provide match analysis to the players and coaches.- Maintain player and tournament-related confidentiality at all times.
