In charge of the Sales, Marketing & Technical departments as well as the general direction of the business, with growth as the priority. CarPerformance.Online offers Performance Hardware through an advanced online webstore. My responsibilities encompass the whole of the organisation’s operations and practices.

Taken on under a short-term contract to support plans for growth; gain new larger trade customers, implement new business processes to improve efficiency & customer service based on my experience in the industry and to generally review the team structure. Being a smaller business to what I was more accustomed to Velare Wheels was not in a position at this time to take myself on board long term, but I was open to the challenge, and we agreed on a short-term contract in order to setup the business ready for someone with less experience to take over from me and run with what I had achieved.

Following my successes in account management in my previous role I was promoted to Sales Executive, my responsibilities didn’t change but with B2B Sales & Account Management as my priority. Through this role I also assisted with marketing campaigns, represented the business at more events, assisted in content creation & took a set back from the customer support side of things. I left to pursue my own ventures in the Automotive Industry.

In addition to my responsibilities in my old position I moved into the sales team as a permanent member offering technical support on our core product (aftermarket car exhaust systems) to end-users as well as our B2B Customers. I gained a set of my own customers accounts to manage through this promotion, which continued to grow in both numbers and in sales throughout my time in this role.

Approached by a mutual connection to Milltek to lead their new expansion into manufacturing racing simulator frames & running their onsite IT Support for the Derby and Ilkeston branches. Responsible for the specification, building up, testing, delivery and onsite configuration of any ‘complete’ package racing simulator sales also.

General IT Technician reporting into the IT Manager. Two-member team, responsible for the overall management of the IT Infrastructure; support & maintenance of any IT Hardware and software used, keeping the business inline with changing IT governing laws (GDPR) & pushing through any new IT systems upgrades.

Apprentice IT Technician reporting into the IT Manager. Two-member team, responsible for the overall management of the IT Infrastructure, support & maintenance of any IT Hardware and software used. 1-Year Apprenticeship completed with Central College Nottingham.

Two weeks work experience completed between July & August following leaving school in May.
