Worked to bring load within the footprint of large renewable facilities to create win-win relationships between data centers and renewable energy asset owners. Laid the foundation in a pre-seed start up which ultimately raised $3M in seed funding and developed a pipeline of behind-the-renewable-meter load projects across ERCOT. Regularly interacted with utilities, large renewable portfolio asset owners, bitcoin companies, and data center companies regarding the value proposition and development process for interruptible loads powered by renewable energy.

Gathered the founding Board, established consensus operating principles, incorporated as a nonprofit, and found initial seed funding with support from the American Sustainable Business Council.

Led policy strategy and advise on commercial development strategy for the PJM region.Cypress Creek Renewables (CCR) develops, finances, builds, and operates utility-scale solar power and battery storage plants across the United States. CCR is one of the largest non-utility owner of solar in the United States and has raised and reinvested over $3 billion.

I improve and maintain DSIRE, the most comprehensive public source of information on renewable and energy efficiency policies and incentives in the United States and I coordinate the wind energy program.

Set up first online fundraiser for the Forest Foundation, a 501(c)3 in Durham, NC, spearheaded marketing campaign that won the biodiesel bus company Greenway Transit $5,000 and the Green America People and Planet Award for green transportation. Currently providing analytic and administrative support to national clients in the energy and pharmaceutical industries.

I write program grants to empower youth engagement in sustainable development by sending young people to participate in United Nations conferences, I help to faciliate fundraising events, I reach out to people and network, and I help to guide the volunteer-run, youth-led nonprofit of SustainUS as a member of the Steering Committee. Our awesome volunteer Development Team has raised over $65K for various youth empowerment programs since 2011.

Selected for training in energy efficiency analysis for the Environmental Defense Fund's Climate Corps Program. I worked with the Sustainability Manger in Cary, NC where I analyzed energy savings resulting from energy efficiency retrofits at local fire stations using the Facility Dude EMS, developed materials & strategy for The Chief's Energy Challenge, a nationwide energy efficiency challenge, and worked with firefighters to track energy use with EPA Portfolio Manager. I also developed a teen-focused sustainability competition and environmental education initiative using the Raleigh-based JouleBug SmartPhone application.

Tracked environmental policy and assisted with voter education, attended hydraulic fracturing coalition meetings, learned C3, C4, and SuperPAC spending rules, crafted political messaging, and worked with lobbyists to write the environmental voting scorecard for the NC State Legislature.Notably, I was present for and crafted political messaging around the NC legislature's decision to allow and create regulations for extracting natural gas in North Carolina via hydraulic fracturing.

Participated in the COP16 as a YOUNGO constituency member. Observed official U.N. plenary sessions, actively engaged in shaping YOUNGO's strategy for engagement, attended multiple side events on particular policy issues (REDD+, Climate Finance, etc.), and performed media work for SustainUS and YOUNGO that included the drafting and editing of press releases, pitching stories to reporters, managing social media (twitter, facebook), writing blog entries, keeping abreast of major policy shifts, and shaping the media working group strategy and priorities.

Helping to connect film distributors in the U.S. to the insightful environmental films being produced by the Earth Matters Foundation in India.

I write articles, find writers, solicit content, edit, manage the website, link with other companies and organizations, set up media partnerships for events, and sometimes work on solar training programs.

I write/edit/copy edit on a short term project basis. Recently I copy edited the Magic Lantern Foundation's Film Catalog.

Coordinated with service sites regarding logistics for 200 first-year volunteers. Lead, fed, and supervised 3 week-long trips of 7 first-years each.

I managed access to various media production technologies, provided media production center users with technological support, and occasionally oversaw a computer lab.
