Under the guidance of Dr. Omid Beik, I assist in creating low-voltage models of a Megavolt spacecraft power system for applications in rocket propulsion and long-term space exploration missions. I mapped the complex design of each module of the International Space Station and its electrical power system and conducted an in-depth study on the voltage, current, power, phase, and gain ratings for the ISS.I also aid in the design, verification, and testing of power subsystems using MATLAB, Simulink, and other tools.

I Assist in the verification and testing of custom PCB boards for satellites. I utilize LTSpice for the purpose of power system simulation and design verification. I also assist in implementing processes for more efficient satellite power testing. I'm also responsible for the design verification of third party electrical components chosen for satellite bus development.

I designed engineering-focused STEM curriculum to excite, educate and engage students ages 7-12. I utilized my knowledge of engineering, math, science, and technology to properly administer hands-on projects that stimulate a fun atmosphere that aimed to invigorate a love for STEM and foster future STEM careers. I directed and collaborated with counselors and other Camp Leads to properly assure a safe and inclusive environment. I played a major role in fostering a partnership between the School of Mines and the YMCA to enhance programming and job opportunities for students. I also emphasized ideas like the Engineering Design Cycle and the Scientific Method to promote creativity and problem-solving.

I led and directed fellow sports staff in order to maintain a smooth officiating schedule. I also partook as a referee and coached kids from ages 5 to 14 in the sports of soccer, volleyball, baseball, basketball, and lacrosse to enhance sportsmanship and promote competition. I was also responsible for attending to the needs and questions of coaches and players to ensure that all participants were content with our program.
