My main duties and responsibilities are to diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems (Windows & Mac) and across a range of software applications. To assist our users with any logged IT Related incidents when called upon. TO take ownership of issues by carrying out problems analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to the customer as soon as possible, escalating incidents to other support teams where necessary. To accurately record, update and document request using IT service desk system, to install and configure new IT equipment, to resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software from Adobe Reader, Open House, Rader, Microsoft Office and working within Microsoft Exchange and Active directory.

• I was working with a Team of 5 Setting up and reimaging over 400+ brand new PCs then rolling them out to clients across London.• Working with Windows XP,7, 8.1 & ISO• Active Directory, Microsoft Office, Norton, Command Prompt, • Dell, HP, Asus and Apple IMac

• For the first part of this project I helped roll out the new software to over 450 users and train them on how to use it. For the duration of this contract role I was part of a team that was in charge of re imaging brand new PC’s and setting them up into the new A&E Department.

• Worked in a team to ensure that users within the hospital had a no issues that would stop them from their work. 1st line duties included working with a team on the help desk answering calls to users helping them solve their issues over the phone from password resets, account management and software diagnosing. This also involved creating new network accounts, remote accessing, looking after different Clinical software and escalating issues over to the correct department.• 2nd Line duties involved picking up jobs around the hospital and helping users face to face, Ram replacements and upgrades, keyboard & Mouse replacements, porting and patching network points, PC roll outs and diagnosing Hardware issues.
