My name is Ethan Davis, I was born and raised here in Temple, I attended Belton High School and graduated in 2016 and always planned on achieving a bachelors in environmental sciences. Unfortunately I didn’t pursue the resources I was given at the time. I found myself stagnant in the Freebird’s kitchen and was finally onboarded to Buc-ee’s where I learned an exceptional amount of information regarding the maintenance of high standards in the workplace including sanitation, procedure and compliance with policy, what to look for on each individual and what their appearance says about them in correlation with company dress code and their attitudes toward work in that company. I worked in the bbq station in the center of the store surrounded by glass windows, so there was more than an adequate amount of cleaning to do at all times. In this station, managers constantly checked up on the employees, which was beneficial. It helped me grow as a person and gave me insight on what to look for in the future as far as what not to allow, bad habits to break, regulations to follow. I believe I can handle any obstacles or situation that faces me at an alarmingly fast pace effectively and more efficiently than others because of the standards I hold myself to. In my mind, I shouldn’t have to be approached by a management team member for criticism, but rather only for tasking or conversation pertaining to the business. Did I mention I have a sense of humor? We can talk Rick and Morty on the job but only on break or during spare time! All in all, I hope my skills and mindset can be a significant asset and big help in any position. I believe I possess the self motivation to always be punctual and communication skills to work with others and advance to any form of management or leadership style role, because I love leading and feeling valuable to the team. I can accomplish a lot if given the right attention and opportunity to promote growth and show my hands on skills to the team.
