I have over 5 years of employment experience. I started out as a bartender at a very young age. That experience helped me grow out of a shell and develop incredible interpersonal skills and how to understand people. During that tenure, I also continued to develop my leadership skills and was eventually promoted to bar manager. As bar manager, I have helped reduce costs, theft, and increase sales. In the year of 2021, the sales of the restaurant I worked for reached an all-time high. The business has been around for 20 years! I was able to lead teams and help solve staff conflicts as manager. I also have had internships with helped with developing some of the hard skills, I have become much more efficient at excel, vendor management, and ordering. The internships I had were for Soundwave Productions and Dolan’s Venue. I also spent a few months doing marketing for GMP Realty. That was an incredible experience. During my tenure at MTSU, I have accomplished many things. As a recruitment chairman, I recruiting the highest number of potential new numbers for Kappa Sigma in recent history. I have earned Dale Carnegie certification and received multiple peer voted awards. I have also been involved with a college ministry. Overall, I would say that I have learned and gained much experience for my age. I have developed great soft skills and look forward to developing more hard skills!
