The New York Green Bank (“NYGB”), a division of the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority (“NYSERDA”), manages a ~$2BN sustainable infrastructure fund with a mission to boost clean energy deployment in New York State (“NYS”) by addressing market financing gaps through private sector collaboration.In my role at NYGB, I supported the facilitation of ~$6.5MM in advances to renewable natural gas projects, conducted due diligence on various proposals, and created scoring materials for incoming solar-supported affordable housing propositions. Additionally, I served on NYGB's Electric Vehicle (“EV”) Special Panel, exploring potential strategies for the future integration of EV infrastructure into NYGB & NYSERDA's clean energy deployment plans in NYS.

Capitalizing on market demand for exclusive apparel brands, I played a foundational role in revolutionizing an innovative e-commerce service. My initiative not only enabled the purchase of coveted clothing and shoe brands such as Supreme, Off-White, & Nike Exclusives, but also utilized their limited supply model to drive market demand and maximize resale profits.These efforts culminated as I oversaw a team of five in executing an investment considerable for our operation, resulting in an ROI of 450%.

Collab Capital (“CC”) is an investment fund that leverages financial, human, and social capital to support black founders in building sustainable, innovation-centered businesses.As a member of the Black Venture Capital Consortium (“BVCC”), I led a data analysis project to identify the ideal investment partner for CC. Additionally, I reviewed pitch decks, drafted investment memos, and gained valuable industry insights from over 30+ VC professionals. This comprehensive experience has been key in helping CC strategize and direct their outreach towards suitable startups.

Member of the Black Venture Capital Consortium (“BVCC") cohort. Offering a 10-week internship program, including a vigorous 2-week training, with 8-week placement at host-VC firm, BVCC’s mission is to increase diversity in the venture capital & startup ecosystem.Performed as creative marketing lead of BVCC’s 2020 pitch competition, which offers a prize of $42,000 in cash equity infusion & 90-minute consultation from multiple relevant industry experts.

Worked alongside the Department of Computer Information Systems to perform various IT-related tasks, ensuring campus operations were able to proceed uninterrupted.
