Hi, reader! I'm a graduate management trainee at NHS Wales, studying part time for an MSc in applied healthcare leadership at the University of South Wales alongside my work at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.Prior to joining NHS Wales, I studied History with French at UCL. My time in London allowed me to engage with leading academics and explore a range of historical interests, from ancient Greece, to political thought, to French resistance writers, to native north America, the latter of which formed the (general) basis of my dissertation. As part of my degree programme I was fortunate enough to undertake a year at the Sorbonne in Paris, studying history under some of France's leading academics, all through the medium of French. This experience allowed me to further my knowledge of history, understanding of the French language, and written and oral communication skills - all whilst adapting to life in a foreign country. My undergraduate studies came to an end September 2022, when I graduated with a BA (first class hons).Outside of work and academic life, I enjoy playing the drums, am a keen tennis player, an avid reader, and like to keep up to date with politics and current affairs.
