I am a second year student at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and am studying Mechanical Engineering. I am passionate about conducting research while at Caltech and am interested in pursuing a career in research or industry in aerospace engineering.I am currently working in Dr. Sergio Pellegrino’s Space Structures Laboratory and hope to continue research throughout the rest of my time at Caltech.I held an internship position at Berkeley National Laboratories in high school working in data science relating to transmission electron microscope imaging and data. I used Python and Jupyter Lab/Notebooks in app development that allows for viewing, understanding, and analyzing large hierarchical files of atomic images and their associated metadata. I have played soccer for more than 10 years as a goalkeeper and currently play for the Caltech Men's Soccer Team. I am also an experienced jazz trombonist, where I have played in my high school's big band and combos where I have played in a number of gigs and competitions and improved greatly. I am also currently a member of the Caltech Jazz Band.
