I am a Cranston resident and proud Massachusetts native currently employed as editor of the Bristol Phoenix and Warren Times-Gazette newspapers.In my prior jobs as a reporter and associate editor, I wrote hundreds of articles spanning a range of topics from local farmer's markets to high profile murder trials and quite literally everything imaginable in between. I also managed all the online content for the Warwick Beacon’s website and its social media accounts, which during my tenure grew from 8,000 to 10,000 followers.During a short stint in corporate communications, I worked as the Communications Manager for Paolino Properties in Providence, RI. My responsibilities here included internal and external communications, which involved a lot of interaction with local press from the other side of the notebook. I also engaged in various digital marketing tasks, including the authorship of multiple newsletters and directing targeted social media campaigns via Facebook Business Manager. At Suffolk, I maintained Dean's List status every semester on my way a 3.7 GPA with an honors distinction and Magna Cum Laude status. I completed an internship from September 2013 to January 2014 with The Boston Bruins communication staff, have written freelance for various websites, and rose to be the editor-in-chief of Suffolk's 24/7 online news publication The Suffolk Voice during my senior year.Integrity and hard work are the hallmarks of my professional career, and I am always willing to learn from mistakes and continue to improve my craft.
