The Crewing Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing Jetstar’s Day of Operations Crewing functions, providing tactical and operational leadership on shift and proactively anticipating and responding to events that may impact operational integrity.On shift they ensure all Jetstar flights are resourced efficiently, consistently and in accordance with all regulatory rules, and are the point of contact and escalation on shift for key stakeholders. Additionally, they work closely with and take direction from the Manager of JOCC Operations and take such steps as might be necessary to mitigate disruption to the flying program. The Crewing Duty Manager also provides effective leadership and support to the crewing officers, driving engagement through effective coaching, mentoring and employee development.
