I was fortunate to have been mentored by a highly experienced professional who is not only an engineer with studio and live experience but is a working musician. His deep experience designing speaker systems makes him even more well rounded, and he was more than happy to share his insights with me on a daily basis. He taught me real-world applications. He shared music with me so I could create my own mixes and then he provided feedback on ways to improve. I was then given responsibilities to record, edit, and mix for a variety of artists who signed with the record label. The additional value that I was able to bring to the internship was sharing my knowledge with other colleagues on the usage of digital audio workstations.

Eagle Scout is the highest achievement or rank attainable in the Scouts BSA program of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). The designation "Eagle Scout" was founded over one hundred years ago. Only four percent of Boy Scouts are granted this rank after a lengthy review process.
