Previously graduated from Coventry University achieving a first-class master's degree in mechanical engineering. University helped to uncover skills I excelled at, such as optimisation through CAE: FEA topology, topography, etc. As well as strengthening general engineering competencies like design methodologies, thermodynamics, stress and dynamics analysis. Currently undergoing a graduate mechanical engineering at Renishaw, which includes 4 different placements covering various tasks and skills. This job has so far improved my understanding of designing for manufacturing as well as assembly, but also various other constraints in the metrology industry. I currently aspire to become a mechanical engineer while also pursuing chartership.

  Undertaking four six-month rotations within an industry-leading metrology company. On completion of each placement, a presentation is undergone to convey the complexities and achievements during the rotation. These presentations required data analysis and data presentation. Co-ordinate control measurement current products:- Root cause analysis through Mecmesin force testing with a coinciding report- Environmental testing for robustness alongside a test report detailing the procedure and test analysis- Optimisation investigation into mitigating large environmental shocks - 3-axis movement jig design with interchangeable attachments for different applications- Engineering Change for production issues such as technical drawing updates and part changes- Verbal and written communication through interacting with different departments from fixturing to machine shop development Raman Spectroscopy New Product Development:- Iterative process of designing a structurally efficient part- Surface modelling for an aesthetic casing- Continuous improvement through problem-solving- Designing for assembly and manufacturing- Project management and time management through completing milestones on time - Communication with various people from different engineering backgrounds
