I am a second year student of computer science in the College of Engineering at the University of North Texas, and a minor in high school education in computer science. In addition to learning the skills of software development, teaching and leadership in my field(s), I am also a third degree black belt under American Masters Martial Arts active in martial arts instruction, leadership and administration. I am a martial artist, leader, coordinator, and mentor as well as a university student and lifelong learner. In my studies, I particularly focus on programming concepts and methods used in both old and new software projects. I am interested in learning about coding languages and methods for software development, and am looking for new opportunities to be exposed to new lessons and information. I am looking to develop those skills to prepare me to jumpstart a career in software development. On another note, during my martial arts career of 8 and a half years, I have given over a thousand hours to training, teaching, organizing events, coordinating personnel and growing our student base in my organization. Even more importantly, that time has also developed my discipline, respect, leadership skills, communication skills, and work ethic. I have made many friends, learned from many mentors, connected with hundreds of students and will certainly reach hundreds more.
