    • In house contractor to Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (APC), the largest energy developer involved in the Powder River Basin Coal Bed Natural Gas (CBNG) development. As an in house consultant, led the efforts to negotiate coal bed natural gas project permits with the lead regulatory agency as part of the NEPA process. Worked with industry, BLM, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and private contractors on sage grouse, raptor and elk mitigation measures in Wyoming.• Supervise the permitting of over 50 natural gas resource development projects per year. Each project required $250,000 - $450,000 for resources assessments and civil design. All projects site eight (8) natural gas well locations per square mile on federal surface and projects permit up to 150 locations per proposed action.• Schedule and coordinate field surveys with specialists (archeologists, wildlife biologists and hydrologists), data quality assurance and quality control and conducted weekly progress presentations to production managers. Obtained Rights of Ways (ROW) under the Federal Lands Management Policy Act (FLMPA) and assembled sundries for energy development on Federal surface in Wyoming.• Prepare water management documentation for energy development, including reservoir design with the Wyoming State Engineers Office (WSEO), obtained National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits with the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (WDEQ).• Prepare Water Management Plans to support Environmental Assessments conducted as a third party to BLM.• Coordinated with multiple energy firms in the creation of GIS databases processes to obtain improved data quality from the field and to considerably decrease the time necessary to prepare project maps.• Assisted a start-up wind company using GIS tools and methods to locate potential sites for wind energy generation facilities in western United States.• Environmental manager for Spirit Creek Vineyards.
