For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion for sound. From music, to film score, to sound systems, to the technical side of signal processing — I’ve always been obsessed with the way sound enriches our experiences. In my work as an audio-visual engineer and my work in stage management, I’ve discovered new passions in unexpected areas. Live event work has allowed me to creatively solve problems while collaborating with a group of skilled colleagues. This has shown me the great value of adaptive thinking, particularly applied to technical problems, not to mention the value in proactive teamwork. I have also worked on a wide variety of events, including corporate, private, music, fundraising, and even fashion, which has given me the opportunity to interface with a unique array of clients. I’ve learned that keen listening and asking the right questions are at the heart of bringing the customers’ goals and vision to life. I have also seen first-hand the kind of innovation that can happen when people are open-minded and enthusiastic about challenging themselves intellectually, creatively, or both. In that spirit, I’m pursuing a position that would benefit from my background in combining technical skill with customer relations - and I’m always open to learning more and challenging myself.
