● Aided manufacturing engineers with manufacturing process development for the 3rd and 4th stage vane for a T-56 turboprop engine.● Tested and adjusted Makino G7 grind paths on scrap castings.● Analyzed CMM data taken after grinding operations to measure part deflection and check for continuity and repeatability from part to part.● Used NX to determine which CMM probes were most suitable for measuring casting and machining datums.● Met with machine tooling companies to gauge if their process monitoring capabilities could be used on Rolls-Royce equipment.● Worked with Vansant Engineering to diagnose machining chatter issues with a Sheffield grinder on the factory floor.
