Currently, I am a student pursuing my Bachelor's of science with a major in biomedical sciences in hopes of one day attending a medical or dental school in the future. I was drawn to this field due to my desire and aspirations of helping both myself and others be the best versions of ourselves as we can in order to continue to make this world a better place for everyone. As I grow older, I notice the experiences that I have had growing up and what lessons these memories can draw. From these memories, the most important thing I have taken away from them for myself is that everything must be worked for and to make the most of the opportunities I have been given. These helped me to get to where I am now and to use them in order to play my part in making the world better.This year, I hope to learn more about myself and develop both new and current life experiences and skills, as well as some work experience in the medical field in order to get one step closer to my goal. I like to think that I am good at analyzing and adapting to situations, but there is always room to learn more and improve upon. Some skills I am working on are my interpersonal, communication, leadership and adaptability to prepare myself more for any arising challenges and the hopes of the future.Next year, I hope to have more experience in the medical and dental field via internships, volunteering or shadowing in order to build relationships, real life experience and important skills.
