I conducted a feasibility study of a troposcatter communication system, modeling the dependence channel capacity has on turbulence structure. Also, I investigated task prioritization methods and benchmarks for an adaptive radar resource manager (RRM).

I explored models for audio error concealment in the event of packet loss. I worked with production implementations of packet interleaving, clock recovery, and sampling-rate con-version algorithms. I designed a 5 GHz RF power meter to be used by WiSA member product developers.Also, I modified a wireless driver to reduce the latency of TSF fetches.

I conducted a study on "Sensitivity of Global Methane Bayesian Inversion to Surface Observation Data Sets and Chemical-Transport Model Resolution". I wrote programs in Interactive Data Language (IDL) and Fortran that preprocessed the GLOBALVIEW-CH4, OGI/PSU air archive and EDGAR data sets for use in a Bayesian inversion program. Also, I configured and ran the GEOS-Chem Chemical Transport Model (CTM) simulator to estimate methane surface flux at a global scale over a 30 year period. Being performed on the Gaia supercomputer, I also created bash scripts to distribute tasks at the process level using the Sun Grid Engine (SGE). I presented our findings at the Center for Climate and Aerosol Research (CCAR) symposium, Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) symposium and the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting.

I was a member of small team designing an autonomous rover and I was responsible for the software systems.

I was responsible for product design and visualization of a smart desk that utilized the Intel Compute Stick. I created 3d renderings of the product to showcase scenarios when it would be most useful.
