Paid research assistant at Dr. Yuxiao Zhou’s lab at TAMU. Designed and fabricated magnetic tensile machine for strtetching aortic tissue inside the lab’s Atomic Force Microscope (AFM), as well as other needed fixtures for two other tensile stages. Ran tensile experiments on mouse tibia and pig aorta samples. Calibrated load cells using emprical force curves and Arduino software. Ran AFM data analysis in JPKSPM software to create figures for two upcoming papers expected this fall.

Created automation process for extracting Bluetooth EMG sensor data from a prosthetic hand, uploading, and downloading the data with Firebase Realtime Database, and preparing data for Machine Learning applications in MATLAB.Additionally, presented prosthetic work to a group of local high school girls as part of an outreach program encouraging women in STEM.
