Full-time position teaching courses including Robotics I and II, Physics I, 3D Printing, Engineering I, and Drafting and Design I and II. Opened new 3D printer lab using repurposed space and grant money. Revamped robotics program by writing new project-based curriculum. Designed parts and assemblies for industrial inkjet systems using SolidWorks. Created drawings for vendors following ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards, specified appropriate materials and finishes such as anodize, powder coat, and brush for machined, sheet metal, welded, and plastic parts. Created BOM’s and submitted ECO’s as needed. Projects included conception and design of plasma treatment module, electrical enclosures, overspray collector, UV shields.

Designed and built a semi-automated electropolishing system for metal finishing. Modeled system in SolidWorks to determine required part dimensions and materials needed. Held design reviews and took input from technicians who had used the previous electropolishing system to ensure safety and usability. Tested new system empirically to determine best current, voltage, and time for optimal finishes.
