Agent at Midnight Mango - an agency based in Somerset representing over 50 acts. Personally represented 15 artists whilst based in Glastonbury. Within this role I effectively accessed and implemented live strategies to ensure an artists career development. Consistently liaising with all sides of the industry - artists, labels, mangers, promoters and everyone in between. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both on email, phone and in meetings.Attended conferences and hosted trade stands, including AFO, Manchester Folk Expo and most significantly The Exchange in Mumbai, India. I was challenged to bring more of our artists to India by creating a network of key bookers and festivals in the Indian music Scene. Lots of B2B meetings whilst in the country, as well as panel talks on the UK music scene at the conference itself. In November 2017 Sam Lewis travelled to India to perform at Mahindra Open Sky - huge success and now discussing acts for their future events. A and R skills - travel both internationally (Germany, Ireland, India) and within UK to meet, watch and sign new artists to the company roster.

Bristol

Whilst studying at the Bristol Institute of Modern Music I started a small promotions company/label, working with unsigned indie and rock artists in the city. I aimed to create a community for these artists to flourish and led a small team to help with this. We ran 13 events across the year with 6 sell outs, as well as curating a stage at Harbourside Festival and an in store event with Urban Outfitters in the city centre.Closed this project when I left the city in 2014.
