At the start of the 2020 year in high school, I had already been a part of an accelerated program within the field of mathematics that introduced me into the field of physics and calculus. Using this education, I've been accepted into Oregon State University where I will continue to study in the STEM field regarding Engineering aspects of the aerospace industry. Being accepted into college I've been granted Mount Hood scholarships, Oregon State scholarships such as the National Scholars awards and a Presidential scholarship. Towards the start of the pandemic I received 6 medals for finishing in the top 3 while being a part of the high school swim team the mavericks. Furthermore I have a minimum 97% attendance rate for the past 4 years at the start of Freshman year into my Senior year of high school while going through a pandemic. Also I've received straight A's throughout all of my classes to maintain a 4.0 GPA in order to get into elite secondary schools. My current job as a Cashier has taught me a plethora of important skills such as great customer service, cleanliness, time management, interpersonal communication, and even multitasking. Taking all of this into consideration, I'm exhilarated at the thought of attending college as I'll finally start learning a more comprehensive and focused field of Engineering.

  Cashiering involves dealing with cash and credit card payments, while simultaneously giving cash back in an orderly pace. Not only that but helping cook and prepare food to meet the time stamps listed is required for all workers to aid in the business. Providing customer service, cleaning and sanitizing the workplace, stocking products in the freezer or on shelves and even taking out the trash are duties that I must carry out in this position. In fact I was the fastest cashier in the state of Oregon for 3 hours by taking orders, dealing with payments, making drinks and handing out food to over 200 customers at a time. I've also managed to gain over twenty dollars in tips through exceptional service and by promoting a fast paced environment.
