My role is to guide and support students to reach their full potential both academically and personally. Additionally, I have helped O'Dea High School raise money for Children's Hospital through teaching about the Beards for Bros program and our school's participation in a guild for cancer research. Not only does it support a great cause by raising money for Children's Hospital, but it also creates a sense of camaraderie among the student body. Students grow out their facial hair for a month and collect donations from family, friends, and community members. It's a unique and creative way to raise money for a good cause.Outside of school, I work as a lifeguard at the Bellevue Aquatics Center where I have obtained medical training and certification, including CPR and First Aid, and have experience in dealing with different situations and performing different rescues. In my role as a lifeguard, I am responsible for teaching other lifeguards how to respond to emergency situations and maintain a safe environment for swimmers.With my passion for medicine, I am actively seeking a pre-med internship where I can gain hands-on experience and learn more about the medical field.
