I am a third-year student at Albany Law School. Through my prior experiences, I have developed strong time management, writing, research, and analytical skills, which I am further enhancing and honing at Albany Law School. At Albany, I am also developing skills that will be applicable in multiple practice areas within the legal profession. As a law clerk for Thorn Gershon Tymann and Bonanni in Albany, NY, I conduct research and draft memoranda related to medical malpractice, insurance, and criminal defense cases. Attend depositions and other proceedings to take notes for partners and draft bi-yearly reports to insurance carriers to update them on the status of their case. Previously, as a legal intern with the New York State Office of the Attorney General (OAG), I have conducted research on damages awards and liability, drafted office memorandums, synthesized documents such as deposition and trial transcripts, and helped draft motions. Previously, as an intern for the OAG, I worked in the Bureau of Consumer Frauds and Protection where I practiced alternative dispute resolution with clients and implemented a new electronic filing system via Excel.Additionally, my work as an academic tutor at Le Moyne College has not only strengthened my soft skills, including communication and collaboration skills, but also strengthened my ability to analyze and solve problems. I am eager to continue to obtain new skills, strengthen skills I have now, and grow both personally and professionally.
