As a Sales Associate at Skechers, my main job was to maintain the organization and integrity of the store, while assisting all customers to the best of my ability. I was responsible for working the cash register to help customers check out, as well as processing all return orders. The store required constant monitoring, so walking around consistently was a large part of the job as well. I also aided in the organization of merchandise, as well as unpacking, sorting, and pricing new shipments. Customer service was the most important aspect of the job, with a knowledge and understanding of our merchandise being of utmost importance to aid customers in all situations.

As a To-Go Pro, I was responsible for effectively packing, organizing, and distributing all takeout customer orders. This includes orders that were made in-store or over the phone, as well as all delivery app orders. I worked primarily in the kitchen with the backroom staff, so clear communication was key in such a fast-paced environment. Despite working in the back, customer service was still a large part of my role, as I would often communicate directly with delivery drivers and customers, as well as having to accurately place orders over the phone. These skills were also honed through my brief time as a Host, which was a prerequisite position I worked in before becoming a To-Go Pro. As a Host, I was tasked with standing by the front door to politely greet guests, as well as seat them respective to the seating chart for the night. This position also required me to work with customers over the phone for the scheduling of reservations and large party events.
