Own the technology related to the creation, distribution, and management of data related to the upsell and cross-sell of products on Wayfair.com and specialty retail brands. Responsible for multiple workstreams with the goal of enabling improved customer experiences when purchasing multiple products at once and discovering more to fill their room. Acted as Scrum Master for a team with four engineers, leading ticket grooming, retros, and daily stand-ups as well as creating and delivering on quarterly roadmaps. Started team with two junior engineers and helped to onboard two more over the next eight months. Led cross functional projects to improve customer experience by providing services to our storefront partners to enable faster data, integrating a rules engine with a data science algorithm to ensure data accuracy, and deprecating old technology and transitioning to an up to date system to plan for long term health.

Took ownership of a monthly process where I select the products that will make the greatest impact to the Wayfair Exclusive Brands business. Work with Data Science to improve a model that is used to predict the new products that will be top in their classes based on a Pareto analysis. Created and improved processes to ensure the selected products receive proprietary imagery, proprietary romance copy, and priority placement in promotions. Act as primary stakeholder for our proprietary 3D imagery team that has grown from creating 2000 products a month to over 4000. Work cross functionally with 3D imagery, 2D Photo Studio, Promotions, Damages, Returns, Category Management, While Label Operations, Pricing, Data Science, and Business Intelligence teams, as well as multiple engineering teams where I help scope out tools and data architecture and act as the primary stakeholder.

Secured top finishes at cross-country, indoor track, marathon and half marathon national championships as well as international competitions. Met with local youth and adults to discuss training, nutrition, and the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. Communicated with coaches and teammates about training methods and implemented them with success. Scheduled travel and negotiated terms with race organizers in order to meet budget guidelines.

Independently administered workouts to 15 male and female athletes and guided athletes through difficult workouts and races. Communicated with athletes to help them perform both in races and training. Managed team supplies when traveling.

Advised customers on footwear, gear, nutrition, training, and race plans. Provided help and support at community runs sponsored by the store. Managed supplies within the store and communicated with managers and co-workers about possible shortages or issues. Taught new employees the point of sale system and the technique used by the store to fit customers into shoes.
