• Carry out supply negotiations in a timely and productive manner to meet customer, network connection and capacity allocation requirements for works.• Prepare design, estimate, scope, A to P documentation, offers, construction packages, technical specifications and financial closeout for new works both internal and turnkey.• Provide ‘initial scope of works’ for complex works.• Monitor costs and progress of works and intervene where necessary to ensure delivery of expected business outcomes.• Assist with budget preparation and expenditure monitoring.• Assist in the identification and rectification of quality of supply issues and coordinate with Customer Services Centre and Engineering to ensure Distribution Code requirements are met.• Liaise with customers, retailers and Customer Services Centre to resolve issues associated with connection point services.• Ensure compliance with Quality and Environmental procedures.• May be required to carry out field operating and Zone Substation operating.• Assist with capture and investigation of customer claims.• Carry out negotiations for projects to meet customer network connection and capacity allocation requirements including major industrial & commercial customers and/or retailers.• Represent the company in a knowledgeable and professional manner, maintaining corporate image inline with company values.• Manage minor projects to enable effective construction.• Manage minor customer complaints and assist with major customer complaints including provision of VIP and EWOV responses.• Coordinate design and construction activities with other authorities and affected stakeholders.• Manage minor subdivision obligations and response in accordance with established subdivision process.• Understand connection point requirements including metering and servicing arrangements and use of Service and Installation Rules.

• Co-ordination of network access planning and switching instructions related to maintenance, capital programs and customer connection across the region.• Co-ordinate network access planning for all works programs within the region to minimise customer impact & repeat outages.• Delivery of regional network access instructions to timelines and quality.• Safe access to electrical distribution network.• Carry out networks operations in a distribution zone substation for planned or emergency situations.• Maintain up to date system plans and asset records.• Input into asset management strategies for system improvements.• Provide direction to work planners, construction parties to the most appropriate isolation for works.• Arrange operating resources for planned and unplanned outages.• Negotiate agreed outages with customers as required.
