Member of the UBC Mining Games team training to compete in the 2025 Canadian Mining Games hosted at Université Laval

Just started a new Co-op as the Drill and Blast student at the Fording River coal mine in the beautiful Elk Valley

Worked in the parts manufacturing shop, building and assembling cabinet and closet pieces. Took care of shop equipment and operated both light and heavy machinery

Worked as a Metallurgical Engineering Co-op student, with a variety of responsibilities such as sample collection and testing, data logging and analysis, and working with operators to ensure safety and efficiency. Also assisted with creating and implementing methods for improving mill operating efficiency and debottlenecking. Spent time working to improve safety as well as took responsibility for overseeing minor system repairs within the mill.

Worked in the field for 3 months assisting with drill core sampling and transportation, section drawing, field surveying and surface rock sample collection.
