As a student at BYU-Idaho, I am given the opportunity to work on customer vehicles as a part of my education. I have taken classes correlating with the steering and suspension (A4), brakes (A5), Electrical Systems (A6) and Engine Performance (A8) ASE certifications. While taking these classes I had a lot of hands-on experience with jobs such as brake and rotor replacements, sway bar linkage replacements, axle seals, drum brakes, wheel bearings, and so forth. I have taken the A4, A5 and A6 ASE exams with passing scores and continue to look for work experience to receive my certifications. I am also a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. I am currently working as an intern at Polaris Industries' engine plant in Osceola, WI. I am excited to look for more connections in the automotive world that will help me to continue on to my future career path.
