I’m a second year student in the Co-op Accounting program. As a back shop attendant for Deer Creek, I’ve been able to develop and apply my communication and problem solving skills in a professional environment. I’ve met countless types of people and have learned how to communicate positively and effectively with many different types of people.I’m usually the one keeping people’s spirits up in times of stress and often facing new challenges with a smile. I’m always trying to learn something new, whether it’s for fun or for my future career. Outside of classes or work, I’m usually either out socializing, improving my social skills or strategizing for how to beat the next boss in a game, sharpening my analytical and planning skills. I enjoy seeing the ways in which I can apply the skills I learn while doing my own thing in a school or work environment. I find it’s one of the most satisfying experiences when some random thing I picked up from a game helps me solve an actual problem.
