-Acted as lead vibration analyst and KCF's main point of contact for multiple automotive manufacturing plants. Clients I directly worked with include General Motors, Clarios, Paccar, and Toyota.-Responsibilities included monitoring vibration data taken from sensors placed on manufacturing equipment, performing vibration analysis to diagnose issues, communicating with clients, and making informed maintenance recommendations.-One of KCF’s goals is to prevent unplanned downtime. An impactful success I had with that goal was helping prevent 16 hours of unplanned downtime during a belt failure, which saved a plant $75,000. After seeing vibration patterns which indicated belt wear on a piece of equipment critical to production, I reached out to the contacts at the plant and made a strong recommendation to replace the belt. There were no spare belts available, so they placed an order, and the new belt arrived 16 hours later. The belt failed soon after and was replaced. If the spare belt was not ordered until the failure occurred, production would have been shut down for 16 hours.
