I stood as a Conservative Party Candidate in the 2022 Local Elections, in the London Borough of Sutton's St Helier West ward.Whilst I fell 57 votes short of victory, my two running mates were elected and became the ward's first-ever Conservative Councillors. Borough-wide, we achieved a net-gain during a very difficult time for the Party nationally.
