Throughout my life, I have possessed a deep interest in and passion for defense and security issues. This passion, along with my deep sense of patriotism and desire to help protect my country, led me to pursue a career in the national security field. Currently, I am a student at the George Washington University majoring in international affairs with a double concentration in Security Policy and Europe and Eurasia Studies. I am also pursuing a minor in Political Science. In addition to my studies at GW, I spent nine months working at the Eurasia Center, first as an intern and later as an associate. During my time there, I published two articles on contemporary European security issues (listed below). Following my time at the Eurasia Center, I spent another semester working at the Institute of World Politics as a research assistant for Dr. Joshua Muravchik. In this capacity, I conducted research on pro-Russian disinformation and influence operations in the United States. I hope to one day put my academic and professional experiences to good use in the defense and security sector, either as a government official or as an academic.
