I was fortunate enough to work simultaneously on two projects as part of my year-long internship at NASA Langley Research Center's Aeroacoustics Branch. Point-to-Point 4D Ray Tracing - Explored the use of Null Geodesic Solutions for Acoustic Propagation- Investigated 4D spacetime ray solutions for acoustic propagation using MAPLE (referencing work of David Bergman)- Established 2 point BVP conditions to connect the null geodesic between an acoustic source and observer in stratified media.- Created C++ code to house basic benchmark acoustic propagation codes for comparison.
