For two sessions I worked for the legislator representing Georgia's 163rd District. I was charged with giving my full-attention to what other constituents/legislators were saying, while taking my time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. My primary tasks was communicating information and ideas in writing and in person so constituents can understand i.e. newsletters and resolutions.

This internship was ran through the Morehouse College Leadership Center's Community Revitalization Initiative. I assisted community stakeholders i.e. community development corporations, and Neighborhood Planning Unit-4 in preparing MS Excel reports, using statistics, charts, and graphs, to illustrate foreclosure rates in areas impacted most by the recession. I was one of the pioneers during the early days of Maroon Weekly. I communicated with the public and Texas A&M student body to convey information effectively. I also was continually developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and adhere to deadlines. I covered the Texas A&M basketball team during its run to the 2006 NCAA Sweet 16. I also saw Kevin Durant play twice in person (GOAT).

During my tenure with KEOS, I was appointed to the Management Team where I worked closely with the team establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them. Outside of my Management Team duties I produced and hosted two LIVE radio shows where I entertained my audiences while directly addressing public issues.
