About Ethan Browning
After graduating from Idaho State University's Energy Systems Technology and Education Center, I have had the opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of power producing facilities. This includes working with utility scale wind turbines in both maintenance, manufacturing and commissioning roles; working in a hydroelectric complex with three power plants totaling over 1100MW of generating capacity; and operating two, 2x1 Siemens combined cycle power plants I am now part of the operations and maintenance team at a simple cycle gas turbine plant with five GE LM6000 gas turbines.I believe this broad range of power generation experience, as well as my degree encompassing all aspects of instrumentation, controls and operations in the energy industry, positions me well for careers in operations and maintenance in all types of industries.
