I am a Software Engineer and Artisan. I place a high value on pride of craftsmanship and I embrace both the art and science of software creation. I aspire each day to improve myself and my craft. I am a full stack developer, having designed and developed Desktop and Web applications, created web services using SOA and REST paradigms, and designed databases from schemas to stored procedures. My core strengths skew toward application and service development - those meaty bits of code that connect the beauty of the user interface with the utility of the database. I have extensive experience developing applications using ASP.Net, MVC, Web API, WPF with Prism, and WCF Services. I am a proponent of agile software development, and I am a practitioner of XP, Scrum and Lean.I like to challenge convention and keep people on their toes. I am a lefty with good handwriting, I can write good code regardless of whether I am in a t-shirt or a suit. I approach each project with the mentality of a starting pitcher - confident that I am the right choice, but knowing that I must rely on the skills and experience of my teammates.
