I have completed studies at the University of Newcastle studying a Bachelor of Information Technology / Bachelor of Business. I have worked in several roles whilst studying, but now looking to gain experience in IT-focused industries. As a strong team player, a skill I developed throughout my time at Namoi Wastecorp, Viterra and during my studies at the University of Newcastle. I developed this skill as I am still and was operating within teams to perform tasks in which we shared a common goal. At university, it was to put on events that provided the most satisfaction to other students. During my classes at university, I have been put into many teams for assignments in which we all share a common goal and work to achieve it. Specifically, during one of my classes, we were tasked with completing a group report and seminar on blockchain technology. We were expected to complete a lengthy report covering areas including sustainable computing, green computing and the strategies involved. I specifically focused on strategies to produce green software. Consulting many sources such as journals, white papers and videos outlining relevant content. Following the completion of the task we achieved a High Distinction and I learnt that I enjoy working in teams and am effective in my communication. Another skill I possess is an excellent work ethic, this has been formed through my time at Namoi Wastecorp as I had to juggle multiple tasks that needed completing, such as unloading trucks, sorting materials and disposing of oil waste. All of which need to be completed in a short time frame. This improved my work ethic as I had to always manage many aspects of the workplace which I did successfully until I left. My work ethic was further improved at university as I successfully managed to complete four different subjects with many assessments and tasks for four years. I have also developed my leadership skills whilst being the President of Student Living at The Uni of Newcastle, by leading a team that hosted many social events over the year. Also ensuring the wellbeing and safety of the members of these events. I have now started work full time for MONEYME in a grad role helping to hone my skills, in communication, time management and leadership to ensure I can complete my duties for the teams I work in to the best of my ability.
