- Developing vehicle-side software for land robots on embedded computers like NVIDIA Jetsons, ARM-based single-board computers, and microcontrollers using C++, C, and Python to control the mobility, arm, and cameras.- Writing both vehicle and controller software for advanced manipulation of a six degree-of-freedom arm, including preset poses and fly-by-tip control with full self-collision avoidance using Robot Operating System (ROS).- Creating graphical user interfaces for operating small, medium, and large remote-controlled robots and vehicles, including safety-critical systems, both in Linux and Windows, leveraging Qt and .NET.- Writing vehicle and controller software for interfacing with HD cameras, pan-tilt-zoom cameras, thermal cameras, infrared sensors, LiDARs, and other sensors on the vehicle to be displayed on the user interface of the controller.- Supporting product demonstrations at customer locations as needed, including quick turnaround software changes.- Testing software in simulations and on physical hardware in the lab to ensure safety, reliability, and user friendliness.

- Developed C++ and Python ROS software for an experimental robot cell with the concept that a single robot can perform plasma cutting and grinding to be able to finish an entire steel cast part with little human intervention.- Worked with a computer vision system to create a point cloud of working area for adaptive path planning of manipulator.- Manually operated the robot to test tooling paths and AI planned movements to be implemented in automation mode.- Optimized the robot’s cycle time to complete paths by eliminating areas of idleness and inefficient motion.
