Teamwork skills are very valuable in this position as members are always working in groups to complete cleaning tasks, because of this friendly communication and ability to connect with workmates and guests are essential to great teamwork.Reliability - During my experience working in this position I have actively maintained a reliable attitude towards my work, including attending my rostered shifts, making myself available to help with extra shifts or extra tasks during work and communicating any issues with managers. This is an important skill as an employee of any workplace.

In the 5 years of working in Port Douglas, I was able to improve on some of these skills including teamwork, personal-development, time-efficiency and reliability. Personal Development - During my experience in this position, I was able to improve some qualities about myself and reflect on the skills and qualities I have developed. Some ways that I could reflect on my personal-development included having work discussions with supervisors and connecting with workmates inside and outside of the workplace.
