I have worked in Machining Industry for 10+ years. My areas of expertise include running CNCs, manual machines, welding, and project planning. I have spent the last 4yrs working for the Auburn School District as the Regional Metal Shop Instructor for the high schools in the Auburn area. I consider metal fabrication my trade and enjoy working with hands on projects. I like to work on old vehicles, help people make unique crafts, and collect old machines. I'm drawn to helping people and testing the limits of what's possible. One project I'm really proud of was an engine I had machined in high school using our Metal Shop class. It was a group final and I was able to coordinate and help other students produce miniature 2 stroke engines from blueprints I had found online.That project and the support I had from my instructor helped me find my first job out of high school and I have been working in the manufacturing industry since then. I became a Metal Shop instructor back in 2017 and have become more adept at teaching the skills I'd learned over the years to anyone wanting to work in metals manufacturing. As my journey continues, I look forward to growing as a persona and tradesman.
