Utilize problem solving and engineering design background to produce steel equipment and structures from conception to implementation. Equipment and structures are fabricated and welded via MIG process. Some examples of equipment designed and fabricated are production tables for the logging industry, safety guards for heavy equipment, and utility racks for commercial and consumer applications.

In my first role at Cypress Semiconductor, I operated as a rotational process engineer. I rotated between departments every 3-4 months, supporting current process improvement initiatives and creating unique solutions to problem areas along the manufacturing lifecycle. I tested and evaluated processes pre and post improvements to present data to cross-departmental review board for permanent implementation approval. Lastly, I coordinated across multiple departments/Job functions to facilitate successful implementation. Examples of projects include quality control scans to verify coatings before anneal process and reduce scrapped material, reduction in photolithography coatings through process studies, and reduction in processing time via process changes.In my second role, I operated as a shift engineer in the films department. I monitored production and coordinated with the shift manager to set production priorities throughout the day. I also monitored and troubleshooted key tool sets to ensure production priorities were met. I had the opportunity to build relationships with tool operators and facilitate their success in production goals. Most importantly, I clearly communicated priorities and down tools to the night shift engineer to ensure a seamless shift changeover and keep progress flowing.
