This Georgia-based company with a presence throughout the Southeast was exploring opportunities to penetrate the market in Texas. I was first hired on a part-time basis to call on potential customers for the company’s line of agricultural equipment, supplies, and services. I generated a list of potential customers, developed a sales plan and strategy, and began calling on owners, store managers, and sales representatives at John Deere, Massey-Ferguson, Case, Kubota, and other agricultural dealerships across the state territory.In a few short months, I visited more than 160 dealerships and businesses, assessing local customers’ needs, demonstrating equipment, and generating interest.

Launching my career as a Field Representative, I quickly forged relationships and nearly doubled territory revenues throughout a 15-county territory. During my tenure, I advanced through six positions during periods of rapid growth and restructuring.
