Managed a team of 15 trainees at various levels of a wide array of different projects ranging from in vivo single-molecule biophysics, biochemical studies, synthetic biology, to microbial genetics and cell biology. Sought and attained 3.7 million in funding over a 9 year period (during both junior and senior faculty terms).Worked in a hyper-collaborative manner with other (previously competing) groups in on multiple stories to not only exchange findings and approaches, but also to synergize thereby bringing multiple groups onto one paper, or so that all groups to publish at the same time.
