BarrelSense was born from my passion for whiskey and technology, with a vision to bridge the gap between centuries-old distilling traditions and modern data-driven innovation. Growing up immersed in the art and science of whiskey, I recognized the opportunity to support spirits companies not only in enhancing their craft but also in strengthening their business and bottom line. A key aspect of this journey has been building meaningful relationships within the industry, from distillers to key stakeholders, to collaboratively drive the industry forward.At BarrelSense, we empower distillers with data to optimize product yield, mitigate operational risks such as barrel leaks, and enhance product quality. Our SaaS/IoT platform captures environmental data from aging warehouses, integrating it with ERP, inventory, and sensory data to provide a comprehensive, barrel-centric view of the aging process. I worked at Sazerac’s Northwest Ordinance Distilling as an Operations Leadership Development Program Intern, where I focused on bottling operations and continuous improvement. •Led a project with 100+ bottling technicians, securing buy-in, improving collaboration, boosting efficiency, and reducing downtime•Supervised production lines, providing daily insights to leadership, influencing decision-making and driving process improvements•Spearheaded a company relations program, engaging local leaders & organizing a volunteer event to foster community relations

Support the administrative team, assist with IT projects, and develop workflow efficiency designs. Built 5 custom wooden shelving/cabinet units for new infusion center.

Camp Caribou Boating/Sailing Director and Bunk Counselor. Camp Caribou is an all boys sleep away camp in Winslow, Maine. -I Acquired skills to care for, mentor, and supervise young boys, ages 7 – 15.-Learned to effectively manage and supervise an activity area and lead counselors older than me.-Organized and executed lessons to teach children how to sail, kayak, canoe, and row while being safe in the water.This is a seasonal job in the summer for 10 weeks.

I was a teacher assistant for the combined Kindergarten and First Grade Class every Sunday, during the academic school year, for 2 1/2 hours, for 5 years (8th -12th grade). I worked with the students in helping them learn and understand the Hebrew alphabet, as well as help teach them, by means of readings and many hands on projects, the stories of the Torah. I helped the teacher with the execution and design of such projects, and activities for the students.
