I collaborated with many teams within the company to ensure that the math textbooks were readable and effective. We also regularly held meetings with the CEO and CFO of CK-12 to discuss improvements to the CK-12 website overall.

The main focus of our work was to mediate the actual content that was being created that CK-12 users in grades K-12 would see on the website, ensuring that the material would be optimal for learning and retention.On top of our main focus, we also regularly held meetings with the CEO and CFO of CK-12 to discuss improvements to the CK-12 website overall, as we were able to provide a first-hand perspective of a student: CK-12's target user. A large portion of our time spent was used to administer feedback to the interactive learning services CK-12 provides, as well as developing new ideas for future developments in the website. This experience proved an extremely one, as it provided me with an understanding of how each individual employee at CK-12 helped contribute to the overarching cause of providing free, cohesive educations for all, especially those without sufficient resources to be able to access more expensive tutors or school materials. I worked with kids ranging from K-8th grade, and served as a teacher's assistant for a variety of classes including Design Engineering, Mechanisms of Sound, Acrobatics, Painting, and Board Game Making. While I wasn't in the classroom helping the lead teachers with their class content, I was ushering kids across crosswalks, making sure they all were fed sufficiently, and other typical duties a camp counselor would expect. Overall, this experience provided a relatively traditional camp counselor experience, providing me with valuable work/life experience, giving me a stronger professional basis as I move forward in my work career.
