SwipedOn is a SaaS business, primarily focused on visitor management and complementaryworkplace solutions (such as deliveries, catering, and employee in-out).As the Compliance Finance Administrator at SwipedOn, I am primarily responsible for reviewing sales, legal and technical documents. My role also includes aiding the wider finance team with a range of billing and financial platform maintenance.As an integral role that is entrusted in ensuring business compliance, this covers a wide range of rules and regulations within New Zealand and with our customers world wide. With SwipedOn being present worldwide, the range of laws and regulations imposed by each customer requires a keen eye and a sharp attention to detail. From reviewing Data Processing Addendums to creating custom Enterprise Agreements, I've had exposure to a wide range of requests and adjustments to legal documentations. By taking ownership of managing vendor and service agreements, wider business units rely on my skills and expertise to successfully get larger clients across the line and sign up to our services.SwipedOn is both ISO 27001:2013 and SOC 2 Type2 certified. I have been fortunate to be present in co-ordinating internal and third party surveillance audits. This way SwipedOn can continue compliance to an international standard that provides the requirements and guidelines for organisations to effectively manage and improve information security.

Radfords is a farm production management software solution that covers multiple areas of operations. FreshGrow and FreshQuality are used to streamline customers day-to-day growing operations on their farm. This software is an essential system within majority of New Zealand's orchards and post harvest facilities. After working at Zespri in post harvest fruit maturity, this experience gave me a great understanding on how to leverage my knowledge of the industry and implement changes within Radfords FreshGrow & FreshQuality systems.Clients would communicate their personalised requests on how we could adjust the system to maximise benefits for their application. Having the skills to communicate effectively each small aspect and requirement of the customer to the developers was crucial in providing expected results.Being able to critically analyse and document business processes and workflows along with their relationship to current and future software solutions was the key to success in this role.

Zespri's Maturity Clearance System is a key piece of system technology that is used to request and report on maturity samples for growers and post harvest companies.Being able to proactively identify situations and opportunities for upgrades where data is required was a big part of this role, as the system had only been in its second year of operation. Time was of the essence in this role as multiple parties were involved with the co-ordination of mature fruit being ready for collection.This resulted in having to rapidly resolve grower and post harvest issues at first contact through proactive and detailed knowledge of Zespri's business processes across all business units. Being prepared with the knowledge of the industry and how to approach any situation that could arise was a must. Due to the industry being reliant on a natural resource, effective communication was essential to lay out and execute a plan where all parties involved were pleased with the end result.

Trustpower's Apollo Graduate Programme was created to give participants a taste of working across the business while developing our leadership skills and technical capability. I was fortunate to be exposed to a wide range of business units over the space of 2 years at Trustpower and Manawa Energy post sale of the retail and telecommunications division of the business.The programme was split into 3 secondments where I was given in-depth training, experience opportunities and ownership of tasks to aid in the overall success of the business. Starting within the Community & Communications team, I was able to be apart of the engagement and management of stakeholder, events, planning and relationship management of internal and external resources.Thanks to my exposure to multiple key account holders with the Community & Communications team, these interactions aided me with my next secondment in the Risk & Assurance team. Gaining experience in planning and co-ordinating risk management practices gave me key knowledge to back myself in embedding assurance & compliance framework within business units.The first 2 secondments built up my confidence and knowledge to excel in my third and final secondment within Trustpower's Generation Procurement team. I thrived in this environment of providing end to end procurement insights via data lead decision making. These decisions allowed me to successfully apply my skills in creating, implementing, awarding and managing tender documentation on a wide range of projects.
