Data scientist with a passion for using analytics to make a large impact. During my PhD, I used machine learning to help organ transplant patients decide whether to accept a risky organ offer or to wait for a less risky organ offer sometime in the future. I built a decision support tool that allows a user to enter the custom characteristics of a patient/donor and then shows the probability of survival at different time points for patient's two decisions. After I graduated with my PhD, I worked for a tech company, Kabbage, helping them build models to determine which customers would best respond to fee decreases when taking out loans.
